Procedure for IEC Registration
The first requirement before you start an import/export business in India is to obtain an Import Export Code. IEC is compulsory for import/export of goods.
Documents required :
- Copy of PAN card
- Certificate from Bank on Letter head of bank stating the period for which the business has an account with the bank (format will be given by us on receipt of other documents) [only Current A/C details]
Details of Bank Account
- Name of Bank and branch
- Account Number
- Bank Address
- Date of opening account
- Proof of business: Copy of Shop Act
- Proof of Address: Copy of Telephone bill / electricity bill etc.
- 2 Blank letter head with sign & stamp of proprietor/Partner/Director
- Details of applicant on letter head (Full Name, Father Name, Address, Age, PAN)
- 4 passport size photos of applicant
- Signed form of application (format will be given by us on receipt of other documents)

All documents should be on A4 size paper and should also be self attested by Proprietor
Filing of Application : After verification of the above documents we will proceed further for online application in the Aayaat Niryaat Form 2A (ANF 2A) to the Regional Authority of DGFT in the region where the registered office of the company is situated.
