Procedure for Shop Act Registration
Every company/firm engaged in business has to get registered under State Government or local Authorities to carry on their business activities. The Shop and Establishment license is a primary proof of existence of business in a specified jurisdiction.
REGISTRATION PROCESS
An application is required to be submitted in the prescribed form to the Inspector of the area within 30 days of starting any work at the shop/establishment.
Documents required
- Constitutional documents of the company.
- Address proof of place of business.
- Rent agreement or Electricity bill of the place of business or.
- No objection certificate from owner, in case of a rented premise.
- Details of the directors.
- Rubberstamp of the Company.
After receipt of the above documents, application will be made in prescribed form alongwith prescribed fee paid Challan. Shop Act License is granted within two weeks of submission of application.
